Mama Reflections: The Mother's Day Series

I asked our followers to write a little something about being a new Mama, or young Mama, on Mother's day. Here is a lovely story from a friend of mine:

"Kendall was about 7 months old, and not really saying any words clearly by the time my first official Mother's Day came around. I remember Mother's Day morning so vividly - she was bouncing around in her rainforest jumparoo in the family room with Bo and his dad, and my mom and mother-in-law were in the kitchen with me preparing breakfast...out of nowhere Kendall said, "Mama!" to get my attention. My mom practically umped out of her shoes, and Bo's mom was in shock. Nobody could believe what we had just heard. We asked Kendal what she had said and she repeated, "Mama!"
That was the most amazing feeling, and best Mother's Day gift any mommy could ask for!!"
